Although the initial price for Choice Plus is the same as the Plus Plan, the renewal rate may be higher.

The Bluehost Pro Plan is their top-of-the-line Shared Hosting plan that not only includes the unlimited features and extras you get with the Choice Plus Plan, but you also get a higher performance server and a dedicated IP address.

So, how does Bluehost match up to comparable shared hosting plans offered by other hosts? As it turns out, they compare very favorably in most cases. The introductory prices at Bluehost are low and renewal rates are on point with other established hosting companies. While the Shared Hosting at Bluehost is fine for many website owners, WP Pro focuses on providing even better website performance and better website marketing. Load times are optimized and you have more resources with fewer customers on each server.

And with the Marketing Center dashboard, you can keep track of your SEO, website traffic, keywords, content improvement, and social media posts.
As you would expect with a managed WordPress hosting plan, WP Pro includes automatic WordPress updates so you don’t have to worry about having the latest version of the core product or plugins.
How Does Bluehost Optimized WordPress Hosting Compare to Others?
Pricewise, WP Pro compares favorably to other managed WordPress hosting plans. It isn’t the cheapest nor the most expensive managed hosting option. The one big advantage you get with WP Pro is that even with the entry level Build plan, you can host an unlimited number of WordPress sites. With most other managed WordPress plans, you’re limited to a fixed number of websites.
Bluehost WP Pro vs SiteGround
How does Bluehost WP Pro compare with SiteGround? Both Bluehost and SiteGround are recommended by WordPress.org. In recent years, SiteGround has moved more and more from a cPanel hosting provider to a managed WordPress host.

As you can see, SiteGround’s introductory prices are lower, however their renewal rates do increase. While Bluehost WP Pro does appear more expensive at first glance, keep in mind that with Bluehost you have host unlimited websites with all of their managed WordPress hosting plans. SiteGround’s StartUp plan limits you to a single website. Also, unlike SiteGround, Bluehost WP Pro has no storage or monthly visit limits.
Overall, when it comes to features, it’s a pretty close call here. SiteGround is impressive on the performance end, however Bluehost WP Pro provides a more complete package for website success.
Bluehost WP Pro vs GoDaddy
For standard Shared Hosting, I would definitely recommend Bluehost over GoDaddy. When it comes to managed or optimized WordPress hosting, again I would choose Bluehost.
All of GoDaddy’s optimized WordPress hosting plans allow hosting for only one site—even their more expensive plans. While most of the features are appropriate for a managed WordPress hosting plan, GoDaddy isn’t always forthcoming about their server configurations, so you might not be sure what type of performance you’ll get. Also, GoDaddy’s customer support can be inconsistent at times.

Like Bluehost, HostGator also has their own line of optimized WordPress hosting plans. However, like GoDaddy, HostGator limits the number of websites you can host with their WordPress plans. They have one, two, and three website plans.

On the plus side, with Bluehost VPS Hosting you get solid features that help boost the performance of your websites. And, Bluehost VPS compares very favorably when it comes to pricing.
The only possible drawback is that Bluehost’s VPS Hosting plans are better suited for advanced and experienced users. Website owners that have never used VPS hosting may be better off with more of a managed VPS hosting plan.
