Hostinger vs Bluehost (March 2025) – “Which One is the Real Deal?”

In this comparison of Hostinger vs Bluehost, we take a look at how one of the best budget hosting options (Hostinger) matches up against one of the best beginner hosting choices (Bluehost). Which one should you choose? Let’s take a more detailed look to find out.

Hostinger vs Bluehost: Hosting Plan Features

Both Hostinger and Bluehost provide quality hosting for WordPress websites. Each of these hosts offers a custom dashboard that is easy to use. We found the custom WordPress dashboard from Hostinger a bit easier to work with. Also, while Hostinger and Bluehost both provide guided help in creating your first WordPress website, we were able to create a site quicker with Hostinger.

Across the board, starting from the entry level hosting plans to the more advanced hosting packages, we found that Hostinger includes more features for creating, maintaining, and securing your websites. So here, they are the winner.

Hostinger vs Bluehost: Differences

Advantages of Hostinger over Bluehost:

  • Lower Initial Cost
  • Lower Renewal Rates
  • Managed WordPress Features
  • Easy Website Creation
  • Accepts Cryptocurrency for Payment

Advantages of Bluehost over Hostinger:

  • Includes WordPress Site Builder

Hostinger vs Bluehost: WordPress

As I mentioned earlier, Hostinger and Bluehost include notable WordPress features with their hosting plans. Both of these hosts include features that previously were found only in more expensive managed hosting plans. Of the two, we were more impressed with Hostinger for the inclusion of more features for WordPress acceleration, caching, security scanning, and staging.

Both Hostinger and Bluehost are excellent choices for WordPress beginners. Hostinger has really simplified and streamlined the process of creating a new WordPress site. Their wizard takes you through each step, so you can have a WordPress website in minutes. Bluehost also does a good job with their guided WordPress site creation help. However, in this category Hostinger is also the winner.

Hostinger vs Bluehost: Website Speed

While Hostinger was once the clear winner here, Bluehost has made some impressive improvements and in our testing actually produced slightly better results. Page loading times and core web vitals were a bit more impressive.

Although it’s very close, Bluehost takes this category. See some of our sample speed test results below:

Hostinger vs Bluehost: Customer Support

Although the customer support teams at both Hostinger and Bluehost are helpful, Bluehost offers true live chat support that is more responsive. With Hostinger, you can type your support questions or requests into their chat box, but there is usually a wait time of anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour and a half before you get a reply both by email and within the chat box.

I do find the support a bit more consistent with Hostinger. However, because of the longer response times, Bluehost gets the edge here.
