These are probably not the easiest two web hosts to compare. While iPage offers a single type of hosting plan, GoDaddy offers many different options. You can even use GoDaddy just for their domain registration services and get your hosting elsewhere—including iPage. Although GoDaddy does have a hosting plan very close to the same price level as iPage, it is only a starter package. You’ll get much more value and features with the iPage plan.
If you already have a lot of domains registered with GoDaddy and you really don’t need heavy duty web hosting, it might be easier to get your hosting with them. You’ll usually receive some good discount offers. Then again, if you need hosting for all of your domains at Go Daddy, getting your web hosting at iPage will be cheaper.
GoDaddy is one of the largest and most well-known web hosting companies. That may or may not be important to you. While both iPage and GoDaddy offer live chat support, keep in mind that GoDaddy’s live chat is available only certain hours of the day. GoDaddy does have a good tablet app that lets you access your account on your mobile device.
If you’re looking to get the most value with your web hosting plan, iPage comes out on top in this comparison.
