Web Hosting Hub vs. Namecheap (Jan 2018)

Both of these web hosting companies—Web Hosting Hub and Namecheap–are viable choices for both bloggers and entrepreneurs. Both offer several levels of shared hosting plans. In addition, Namecheap also offers dedicated and VPS hosting.

As a customer of both Web Hosting Hub and Namecheap, I can tell you that each web host has provided excellent services. Of the two, I would definitely give the edge to Web Hosting Hub for several reasons. Their basic hosting plan (Spark) provides more features and value than Namecheap’s Value Plan. For example, you can host unlimited sites with the Hub plan, plus you get unlimited storage and email accounts. I also like that Web Hosting Hub provides both Webalizer and AWStats for web statistics.

While customer support at both Hub and Namecheap has been helpful, the response time from Web Hosting Hub has been superior. Also, with Hub you get a full 90 day money back guarantee. Namecheap’s money back guarantee is on the light side at 14 days.

One scenario where you might want to consider Namecheap is if you plan to have quite a few domain names. They offer quality domain name registrar services including offering a wide selection of the new TLD extensions. In this case, it might be more convenient to add a Namecheap hosting plan with the domains you have hosted there.
