A2 Hosting vs Arvixe (2023) – “The Winner Is …”

Comparing A2 Hosting and Arvixe can be a bit difficult as they each structure their web hosting plans differently. A2 Hosting has three levels of shared hosting to choose from, while Arvixe separates their hosting between personal and business—with two different levels within each category.

While I use both A2 Hosting and Arvixe, and have been completely satisfied with both, I would give A2 Hosting the advantage when it comes to overall value. At one time, Arvixe included a number of impressive bonus features with all of their hosting plans. However, they have since removed some of them, while others require an additional fee. By contrast, all of A2 Hosting’s plans include a bunch of bonus freebies. And, A2 Hosting’s premium Turbo hosting plan provides increased website speeds—while costing much less than Arvixe’s premium plans.

Some of the other reasons I like A2 Hosting in this comparison are the inclusion of solid state drives and a free CDN with your hosting plan. Their WordPress environment is optimized for better speed and security. And, along with their 99.9% uptime guarantee, you also get their anytime money back guarantee.

UPDATE: We would now definitely recommend A2 Hosting in this comparison. Arvixe now has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. And, we’ve experienced difficulties in receiving a refund for a renewal we did not want.
