InMotion Hosting Improvements

A great web hosting company not only provides outstanding services and support from the moment you sign up, but also continually looks for ways to improve their customer’s experience whether by improvements to hardware, customer support, or other innovations.

If you’ve read some of my other posts, you know that I consider InMotion Hosting as one of the best choices for business web hosting. Despite being one of the top rated web hosting companies, they have continued to look for ways to make improvements. Here is a recap of InMotion’s highlights from last year.

• Increased capacity of datacenters and improved core infrastructure
• Connection speeds of servers increased from 100M to 1000M

After InMotion’s upgrades last year, I have noticed a distinct improvement in server load performance. They have even been able to reach 99.999% network availability.

• Enhanced security and features on shared servers

InMotion has always done a great job of insulating my sites from outside forces.
Recently, they successfully blocked attempts to maliciously login and attack some of my websites.

• Launched customer experience department

Customer support has always been one of InMotion Hosting’s strong points. I’ve written extensively about my positive experiences with their support staff.

• Increased managed hosting capabilities
• Launched reseller hosting product
• Implemented new live chat software

InMotion’s chat support has always been excellent and they have now updated their chat interface for an even more user-friendly look.

• Redesigned InMotion Hosting website
