The managed WordPress hosting field continues to see plenty of action. Following the release of new and revamped managed WordPress hosting plans from the likes of InMotion Hosting, A2 Hosting, and DreamHost, WP Engine has announced that starting March 1, 2018, they’ll be offering their new Digital Experience Platform with a new hosting plan lineup. According to WP Engine, the new hosting plans are designed to “provide more flexibility, innovation, and value”.
Although prices have increased, WP Engine’s new hosting plans include more impressive features that do indeed boost the value you’re getting with their hosting packages—at least for single site or Startup plan owners. For example, all plans (including the Startup Plan) now come with a CDN—which previously costed an additional $19.95 with their Personal 1 site plan. And, all hosting plans now come with 3 site environments (Development, Staging, and Production).
