Web Hosting Hub vs. Bluehost (Jan 2018)

Performance wise, both Web Hosting Hub and Bluehost have proved to be good choices and I’ve had successful sites hosted with both Web Hosting Hub and Bluehost. At one time, both Bluehost and Web Hosting Hub sold one all-inclusive hosting plan. These days, you can choose form three different levels of shared hosting plans at both companies.

Bluehost is a bit more expensive than Hub, but you do get some nice extra features including search engine submission and SEO tools. While both of these hosts provide helpful customer support, Web Hosting Hub has proven to be much more responsive via live chat. Bluehost has recently been a bit disappointing with long wait times before someone handles your support request. We also appreciate that with Web Hosting Hub, you aren’t hit with the amount of upsell attempts that you are with Bluehost.

While both of these companies provide solid hosting for websites, we have to give Web Hosting Hub the advantage here—given the superior customer support response times and all around better performance.
