Web Hosting Hub Discount – $1.99 mo.

How good is Web Hosting Hub? Web Hosting Hub may not get the same amount of publicity as other web hosting companies. But, that doesn’t mean they aren’t one of the better choices for hosting your website. While InMotion Hosting (sister company of Hub) excels at business, VPS, and dedicated hosting, Web Hosting Hub is great for bloggers and entrepreneurs looking for unlimited web hosting plans. True, you don’t get all of the same features that are included with InMotion’s packages. But on the other hand, Hub’s base level hosting plan includes unlimited storage and bandwidth—plus the ability to host as many domains as you need.

Another nice feature about Web Hosting Hub is that if you need more processing power and resources in the future, you can save some money and not have to upgrade to a VPS or Dedicated Hosting solution. Web Hosting Hub has two advanced levels of shared hosting (called Nitro and Dynamo) which provide additional memory and processing resources. Read more about them on my previous post.

Here’s a walk-through of the sign up process at Web Hosting Hub.

First, you need to specify your domain name. Hub gives you a free domain for the first year, so you can choose that name here on the left side. Or, if you already have a domain name that you’re going to use, enter that name on the right.

Next, you need to enter your account information. Below that are a couple of additional Package Options for data backup and anti-spam protection. Be sure to uncheck these if you don’t want them. If you do want these options, there will be some additional fees. While data backup and spam protection are definitely important, you should always be doing your own backups as well. And, SpamAssassin is included with your cPanel interface. So, it’s really up to you whether you need these package options.

Lastly, you select the type and length of your hosting plan and enter your payment information. You’ll then receive an email notification concerning your order processing.

Once your account is activated, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to your account management panel. You’ll also receive a couple of pdf files with simple instructions on getting started.

The Web Hosting Hub account management panel is very user-friendly and allows you to manage your account information and billing, as well as access your cPanel and manage your email and hosting account.

I’ve used Web Hosting Hub in the past and have recently opened up a new hosting account there. The performance, value, and customer service are excellent.
