Signing Up and Downloading Private Internet Access

Signing Up with Private Internet Access is very easy. And, they have one of the best selections of payment methods available.

After signing up, your type of device is detected and you can download the VPN software. You’ll also receive an email with your account name and password to login to Private Internet Access.

Once you install the software, you can launch the app and log in. The closest available VPN server is automatically detected and you can connect to this server. I really like the application interface you get with Private Internet Access. You can select a different server from there. However, if you click on the icon at the bottom to expand the app screen, you’ll see that you can not only view performance and usage information but you can also use the Quick Connect feature to instantly switch to a VPN server in another country.

In my testing, performance was excellent with no noticeable decrease in speed.

Private Internet Access Customer Support

Unfortunately, Private Internet Access does not currently offer live chat support. They do have a knowledge base and you can easily send an email support request. Although response time wasn’t as quick as I would have liked, I do have to report that the response/resolution that I received was very thorough and on point.

Recommendation
