Chatbots are becoming increasingly more important for businesses these days. And, it isn’t just about ChatGPT. There are now a number of affordable chatbot options that you can use to gain more leads, customers, and sales for your business. Here in my Manychat Review, I’ll go over what it does and how it performs so you can decide if it’s the right solution for your business.
Manychat provides more immediate and customized communication for your potential customers. Instead of them having to wait for a reply, you can setup Manychat to handle different types of inquiries and respond automatically via Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM, or WhatsApp. You can also use it as an email funnel, so if you’re currently using a tool such as AWeber or Constant Contact, you might want to consider trying Manychat instead.
Manychat Includes the Following:
Manychat does offer a Free Plan that allows you to try it out and get acquainted with the interface. No credit card is needed to sign up for the free plan, you can access it by clicking this link.
Manychat also has a paid Pro Plan that starts at $15 mo. and scales up with the number of contacts you have. The advantages of going with the paid plan are:
Be aware that the free version is much more basic and does not include a lot of the better features they offer. You can however get a free 14 day trail to their Pro Plan which may be the better option here.
You can get started using your free Manychat account right away—no credit card needed. First, you connect to Facebook or Instagram.
You’ll then be guided in creating your first Manychat flow.
It may take a bit before you get totally comfortable working in the Manychat interface. While it’s easy to use, there are sometimes multiple ways to accomplish a task and locating the right options may seem strange at first. However, Manychat has done a good job with their drag and drop automation task creator. Once you’ve created a couple of flows within Manychat, the process is much easier.
Manychat lets you set up automations so when visitors comment on your posts or trigger a chat flow sequence some other way such as entering a keyword or clicking a url, you can automatically respond via Facebook Messenger or Instagram. For example, you can collect email leads while answering questions, send out a button link to direct the user to your website or other landing page, or lead them into your email sales funnel.
In my case, I was able to setup an automation where when a user clicks on my WordPress website, they are connected to Messenger and automatically sent out a link to one of my sales pages.
Again, keep in mind that you are limited with the free version of Manychat. In order to perform some of the advanced functions, you’ll need to have the Pro version.
Manychat also offers a series of video tutorials to get started. However, the presentation is somewhat rushed. In my opinion, there are better videos on YouTube for getting started with Manychat.
Overall, I was pleased with Manychat and its ability to setup automated chat flows that are very affordable compared to what you would pay for custom solutions—that’s the biggest advantage with Manychat. Although connecting via Messenger or Instagram isn’t always ideal, most people these days have access to one or both platforms, and the ability to utilize them for increased sales leads and conversions definitely makes Manychat worth consideration.
As I mentioned above, you can try out Manychat absolutely free. Use the link below and you don’t need to enter any credit card information to use the free plan. However, for most business uses, I would recommend going with the Pro Plan. In order to take full advantage of Manychat, you need the Pro Plan for features such as Email Marketing, SMS, WhatsApp, Advanced Automations, and Integrations with other apps.
You can also try out the Pro Plan free for 14 days. Here, you do need to enter your payment info. If you decide to go with the Pro Plan, it starts at $15 mo., so it’s still very affordable. Again, while the free plan is fine for getting acquainted with Manychat, if you’re serious about integrating automated chat for your business, I would recommend going with the Manychat Pro plan. You can also use the link below for that.
