Go Daddy’s Web Hosting App

It seems like almost every company has their own app for tablet computers and smartphones—except for web hosting companies. Surprisingly, I recently did a search and could only locate one for Go Daddy. And while I certainly did not search for every existing web host out there, I did expect to find at least a few from some of the companies I’ve used for hosting. At least as of now, I didn’t find any others.

So I installed the Go Daddy web hosting app on my Google Nexus and here’s what I found. With the Go Daddy Mobile app you can:

• Search for available domains
• Contact Go Daddy Support
• Access Mobile Mail and Online Storage
• Query the WhoIs Database to see who owns a domain
• Access Go Daddy Domain Auctions
• Browse the Product Catalog
• View Go Daddy’s Commercials
• And best of all, Manage your Go Daddy Account

So far, the app looks good to me. Granted, I haven’t been using it that long. But I do like the functionality that Go Daddy has included in this mobile app. I would definitely like to see the other web hosting companies release their own apps as well.
