DreamHost Ups the Ante in WordPress Hosting with DreamPress

With the continued growth in popularity of WordPress, web hosting companies are ramping up their sales pitches for WordPress site owners. Previously, I shared some of my thoughts on the best web hosting for WordPress in a blog post. My feelings and experience on WP hosting has been that all of the top rated web hosting companies do a credible job. For the majority of WP site owners, these web hosts are fine. Now, for those site owners that have achieved a great level of success and are receiving hundreds of thousands or millions of hits, a managed web hosting solution should be considered. WP Engine is one of the most well-known companies offering managed WordPress web hosting. I’ve heard great things about their service. Currently, DreamHost is offering a special introductory rate of $19.95 per WordPress site. Keep in mind you have to be an existing DreamHost customer or sign up for a new account there. So the $19.95 will be in addition to your web hosting fee. Although the total price tag will be more than other hosting solutions, the added features, security, and support can really benefit those WordPress site owners that need a more enterprise level environment.
